Programs That Give Hope

Christian Church Services
Join us on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. at 2350 i-10 East for worship services. Other church programs include Women's Ministries, Community Care Ministries, Men’s Fellowship Club.   Youth activities include Club 316, Junior Soldiers, Corps Cadets, Brass Band, Drama, & Timbrels.


Soup Kitchen
The Salvation Army provides breakfast and dinner, 365 days per year, to non-sheltered and low income individuals in the Beaumont community.

Disaster Relief
A team of Salvation Army staff and volunteers aids victims of disasters in Jefferson County by providing food, water, and counseling.

Social Services
Clients receive aid including: clothing and food vouchers; financial assistance for utility bills, rent/mortgage payments, bus tokens, and prescriptions.

Family Discount Store
Always find quality merchandise at bargain prices.  Every first Saturday of the month is 50%. All purchases made at The Salvation Army Family Store help fund programs that benefit individuals in need in our local community. 

Red Shield Emergency Shelter
A free, safe and healthy shelter environment is available to homeless men and women. First 3 nights are free, afterwards only $10 per night.


Transitional Shelter
The Transitional Shelter Program is a 1-6 month program that helps individuals work towards key objectives that allow them to become self-sufficient. While these people work towards these objectives, we provide them with support to meet basic needs, including meals and shelter.

Home Sweet Home Transitional Housing
The Transitional Housing Program is a 6-month to 2-year program that provides housing and support services to individuals desiring to rise above poverty and to eliminate the constant threat of homelessness.

Seasonal Activities
Seasonal activities include: back-to-school assistance, special holiday meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas, Christmas assistance (Angel Tree, Red Kettle Campaign, & Winter Coat program), and summer camp programs.
